In addition to being a healing practitioner, I offer coaching for physical health, fitness and nutrition. I have integrated my life-long PASSION for health & nutrition with the healing work I do. I have a Master of Science degree in Health Promotion Management. My graduate level coursework included the study of physiology, nutrition, the psychology of behavior change, epidemiology, and designing and implementing public health programs and disease prevention programs.
I have helped people to achieve their health & nutrition goals, love their physical body, and the joy and balance of being healthy on all levels: Body, Mind and Spirit! I have always loved movement, and studied dance from a very young age (ballet & jazz); I ran track in high school (400 meter relay sprinter), and have been a runner my entire adult life. I began weight lifting when I was 14 years old and was hooked in my 20’s by the ability of strength training to sculpt the human body. I earned certification to teach fitness classes, ultimately becoming a personal trainer in my 30’s after I completed my graduate degree. I competed in the Iron Girl Triathlon and took 3rd place at the age of 40 (this was after having my 4 children and our youngest was 2 yrs. old). Now at 57 years old, I walk 5 miles per day (10K steps), strength train 6 days per week, and continue to nourish my body with the most delicious, healthy, organic food, that not only fuels my body, but feeds my soul!

What your Health & Nutrition Plan includes:
We’ll carefully assess your current health needs and you will set your own personal goals; then I’ll provide you with your individualized plan and an entire month of 1-hour weekly coaching sessions. We will focus on gaining & maintaining muscle, adjusting body composition through strength training, and the right exercise program for you (to increase lean mass while addressing weight loss goals). We will also examine your relationship with food, and identify emotional eating patterns and other obstacles that are getting in your way. Don’t wait for it to be January, or some big event like a wedding or reunion, or get stuck in old patterns (this is not a diet program!) This is about making the intentional shift into living with purpose on ALL levels. This is about showing up for yourself EVERY DAY and gaining strength from your spiritual part of yourself. This is about using the “power” of your own soul’s WILL to create a happy, healthy, pattern and relationship with your physical body.
